They probably paid children to make the support site to save money.

Simply ask a new question if you would like to start the discussion again. They may be proud of being the biggest but I would be ashamed also to be serving my customers that way. It is a shortsighted way of doing business boosted by shortterm results oriented management. All HP has got to do is make a downloadlink available. It is the littelest effort you can think of in I have now spent 2 days going in circles in the HP support site.
Your account also allows you to connect with HP support faster, access a personal dashboard to manage all of your devices in one place, view warranty information, case status and more. I recently had to have my Western Digital Hard Drive swapped out and replaced by WD. Because I was able to do so, I removed the hard drive, and sent it back to them, and they sent me a refurbished hard drive. I posted that site on your profile page an hour ago, it`s fine to use, just click on the link to the iso. They're mirrors of the original digital river links. Just make sure you check the MD5s once downloaded.

I got the product key from the base of the laptop. It is 25 characters (numbers & letters), and is on a Windows sticker, but is not recognised by Microsoft to find a compatible recovery disk. Do yourself the favor of ordering the usb recovery media instead of the disk set.
I have the product key for home premium on the back of the netbook, but I need a copy of Home Premium. I don't have the original packaging that included the restore disc. My hard drive has stopped working and I didn't make a recovery disk. When I bought my laptop, I bought with license. So I don't need to buy a license because I have one. I need a download link for an iso file, that will work with the licens that I bought from HP with my device.

Be sure that you have got the correct characters. Click the below link to download the ISO Image installer of Windows 7 Home Premium. This operating system is supported with both 32bit and 64bit. As long as you have a valid key, why can't you download an ISO. CD's can get lost or damaged, so what's the problem. I have an 9 yr old desktop PC with vista 32bit home premium.

You can call your local HP Service Center and chat with someone about the issue. Use your closest large city and HP Service Center as the keywords in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer to locate a contact telephone number. There is also an online chat service that might help you as well if your product is still in warranty. Information and links in this thread may no longer be available or relevant. The Dark Brotherhood Collector's Edition was released alongside Dark Brotherhood and retired following the launch of Shadows of the Hist. It was available again for a limited time as the Thieves Guild Collector's Bundle during the Thieves Guild Anniversary event for ,000. Dark Brotherhood Collector's Edition Now, for a discount price, get the Dark Brotherhood DLC plus the Highland Wolf mount, the Sylvan Nixad pet, and five Experience Scrolls! The bundle included the Thieves Guild DLC, the Hammerfell Camel mount, Kindlespit Dragon Frog pet, and five Crown Experience Scrolls. The font that Microsoft used for the product-key can be difficult to read.
AS long as all twenty five characters were visible, life was good. It is unfortunate that you happen to be doing this at a time when Microsoft has changed its licensing model for some of its products and is no longer supplying the ISO images from DigitalRiver. The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options. Hi guys, Basically I have a netbook that had a HDD failure recently, and now I need to reinstall the OS.
It has been very stable and has served me well and I use it mostly for creating laser cutter work with Corel 12, Inkscape and a few other photoshop based programs. I have the Windows product key on the base of the unit. Not only MS but also HP says if you have this problem use the disk that you got from HP Support. This is not possible because there is no HP support to contact. You would thind that you could find something under downloads. I would go with the USB recovery media from HP, which will work.

Support means that HP need to provide me a download link and not to ask me to pay 48 € again for a license. First, Microsoft does not supply Recovery Disks. So, you can not use your product key to download one from Microsoft. I already tried this, but get an error message. The Product Key doesn't work, presumably because the software is slightly different and is bundled with other HP software. Anyhow, many thanks for your advice and taking the time to offer assistance.

Be alert for scammers posting fake support phone numbers and/or email addresses on the community. There is not a single "Recovery Disk" for HP PCs; instead, there is a set of disks known as HP Recovery Media. † The opinions expressed above are the personal opinions of the authors, not of HP.
